About You

You're a kind, thoughtful, supportive human who believes that people who design for the web should know how to write their own HTML/CSS.

  • 3+ years of design experience with (HTML|CSS|JS)
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and work independently
  • Exceptional attention to detail - you take pride in your work and sweat the small stuff
  • You have an eye for design and understand its importance at all levels, from pixels to systems
  • Excellent communication skills with both colleagues and external clients
  • High sense of customer service
  • You are available to work full time (8 hours a day)
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked within a distributed team.

Technical capabilities

HTML | CSS | JS | Github | Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.

What you'll do

As a Web Designer, you'll be in charge of designing and writing the HTML/CSS for our customer's websites.

  • Update static websites with simple updates requested by clients.
  • Respond directly to customers from a help desk tool.
  • Help create and maintain Page Bird's design systems.
  • Collaborate with internal Page Bird colleagues to develop and maintain websites, focusing on feature development, maintenance, optimization and performance.
